Abstract
The research examined the role of public relations in building a corporate image in an organisation with a case study of Dangote Group of Company, Lagos. The research design used in this study was quantitative with cross-sectional survey research method in which questionnaire was used as a data collection method. The research drew its respondents from the sampling frame using probability sampling technique in which Corporate Affairs department, Human Resources department, Marketing/transport department and management team were selected using stratified sampling technique and in each stratum, ,20 respondents were drawn making one hundred (100) respondents drawn in all. Findings show that public relations play a very in crucial role in building a corporate image of Dangote Group of Company with many contributions on social responsibilities.
